Package travel terms – ReadySetIsland AS
These terms and conditions apply to all package holidays purchased through ReadySetIsland AS (reg. no. 936 970 990), hereinafter referred to as the organizer .
1. Conclusion of the agreement and payment terms
The agreement between the customer and ReadySetIsland AS is considered concluded when the customer has received written confirmation of the order via email or other electronic confirmation.
The organizer will require a deposit when booking . The amount of the deposit is NOK 7,000 per person and the payment deadline is one week.
If payment is not received within 2 days after the due date , ReadySetIsland AS may terminate the agreement, unless the customer can document that payment has been made within the deadline.
The balance is generally due no later than 65 days before departure , unless the organizer can document previous payment obligations to subcontractors. Any deviating payment deadlines will be clearly stated before booking.
Travel documents are sent by email approximately 2 weeks before departure.
2. What the agreement covers
The agreement includes the package tour as stated in the booking, confirmation, travel voucher and any additional services agreed upon between the parties.
Information provided on ReadySetIsland's websites, in emails or other marketing materials is part of the agreement, unless the information has clearly been changed before the agreement is entered into.
3. The price of the trip
3.1 Price
The agreed price includes all known taxes, fees and charges. Any local charges that must be paid directly at the destination will be clearly stated.
The price for cancellation protection and travel insurance is additional and is not included in the package tour price.
ReadySetIsland AS reserves the right to adjust prices in the event of changes in:
- public taxes and fees
- transportation costs
- exchange rates
Price increases cannot be notified later than 20 days before departure , and cannot exceed 8% without the customer being given the right to free cancellation.
3.2 Deposit
ReadySetIsland AS may set a reasonable deposit. If the trip involves documentable upfront costs (e.g. flights, hotels or non-refundable activities), the deposit may be increased accordingly.
4. Special conditions
4.1 Cancellation protection and travel insurance
The customer is strongly encouraged to take out cancellation insurance and travel insurance . ReadySetIsland AS does not provide insurance, but informs about the need.
4.2 Entry regulations
The customer is responsible for a valid passport, visa and necessary documents. ReadySetIsland AS provides general guidance, but does not take responsibility for changes in entry regulations.
4.3 Health
The customer is responsible for familiarizing themselves with the health requirements and recommendations for the travel destination.
5. Cancellation and transfer
5.1 Cancellation due to extraordinary circumstances
The customer can cancel free of charge in the event of unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances that significantly affect the trip (war, natural disasters, serious illness, etc.).
5.2 Cancellation with a fee
- You can cancel within 24 hours free of charge.
- After 24 hours we keep the deposit
- 65–36 days before departure : 50 percent of the tour price as cancellation fee

Less than 35 days before departure : no refund (except government fees)
Different terms and conditions may apply to special trips and will be stated before booking.
5.3 Cancellation due to illness (insurance)
In the event of valid cancellation insurance, the insurance company's terms and conditions apply. The customer is obliged to document the situation.
5.4 Transfer of the trip
The customer may transfer the trip to another person who meets the conditions, for any fees. The original customer and the new traveler are jointly and severally liable. Airlines generally do not allow transfers to another person.
6. The organizer's right to change or cancel
ReadySetIsland AS can cancel the trip by:
- too few registered
- unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances
In the event of cancellation, all amounts paid will be refunded, or the customer will be offered an alternative trip.
7. Obligations of the parties
The organizer is obliged to carry out the trip in accordance with the agreement and provide assistance if needed.
The customer is obliged to:
- pay on time
- provide correct information
- follow laws, regulations and local conditions
- to advertise without undue delay
8. Defects and complaints
In the event of defects, the customer has the right to:
- remedy
- price reduction
- elevation
- compensation (within the limits of the law)
Complaints must be made without undue delay.
9. Dispute resolution
If the dispute is not resolved amicably, the matter may be brought before the Package Travel Board .
10. Travel guarantee
ReadySetIsland AS has provided a statutory guarantee to the Travel Guarantee Fund .
